James Henry is a writer and director, based in the semi-rural hinterland of Glasgow.
He worked on documentaries, commercials, pop videos and title sequences, before his 'Tartan Short' – ‘That Old One’ (‘Best British Short’ at Manchester Kinofilm 2002) – led to extensive experience in TV drama.
James has concentrated on writing in recent years, currently developing a ‘post-Vampire’ TV drama and nearing completion of a middle-grade magical-realist novel.
He's attached to direct a science-fiction horror feature film, Drillers, from his own script, with Rebecca Knapp and Matthew Wakeham producing for ‘Auroral Pictures’.
